Shyamoli Shishumela

Location at the corner of the road from Shyamoli to Agargaon. Although the range is small, there are rides such as Chukchuk Train, Merry-Go-Round, Viking Boat and Ghost Cave. Open daily from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm. It can be entered by paying the prescribed fee per person. There are also different values ​​for each ride.

Saidabad has one large children's entertainment events called Wonderland. There is another similar event called 'Fantasy Kingdom' at the Twin Towers in Shantinagar. It can be entered by paying the prescribed fee per person. One of the attractions of Wonderland and Fantasy Kingdom is Flying Aircraft, Battery Car, Vazfilling, Roller Skating, Thrill Cycle, Bowling Castle Dancing, Voyager Duck, Wonder Wheel, Bumper Car, Small Wheel Extreme Go Cut Racing Car, Jurassic Park, Avif , Paratrooper, Jet Coaster, Western Railcar, Go-Go Railcar, Marie Carousel and Super Chair. Open daily from 11.00 am to 9.00 pm. However, on other holidays including Friday, the schedule starts from 10.00 am.

From the northeast corner of the parliament building, the old airport road is located to the south of Vijay Sarani. This is a planetarium. Inside, a ‘space show’ is presented through 150 projects, including the creation of special types of light and dark and background sound waves. As a result, visitors can see an artificial solar system around them. It contains celestial bodies, planets, satellites, meteorites, comets, lunar eclipses, solar eclipses, etc. Also presented is the history of the names of the zodiac, including the origin of the planets. Everyone has to pay a fixed rate to enjoy this 'space show'. It is closed every Wednesday, including holidays announced by the government. A total of four shows are held on Fridays at 10.00 am, 3.00 pm, 5.00 pm and 8.00 pm. On other days of the week, three shows are organized at 11.00 am, 1.00 pm and 3.00 pm respectively. Tickets can be purchased at a fixed price. Similar charges are levied for vehicle parking.

Bangladesh National Zoo

The zoo is next to the Botanical Garden. Detachment 93 hectares. As soon as you enter, there are cages of animals in the gaps of jackfruit, safflower and black-crowned trees. There is a walkway next to all of them. There are 2,251 animals of 191 species irrespective of domestic and foreign. Of these, 551 are mammals, 309 are herbivores, 69 are carnivores, 33 are nocturnal animals, 63 are reptiles, 533 are rare animals, 1543 are birds and 23 are fish. Among them are lions, hawks, cheetahs, mandrills, alligators, hippopotamuses, giraffes, zebras, otters, Roman monkeys, black wildebeests, hyenas, ostriches, pelicans, owls, seagulls, bhubanchil and more of the capitals and ladybirds. Additionally, there are animal museums, fish aquariums, wide canals (artificial climbs in the middle), shady narrow paths, children's corners and environmental diversity. There are swings, slippers etc. in the baby corner. Thousands of guest birds flock to the canal in winter. One of the attractions of the animal museum is the chemically preserved carcasses and skeletons, along with a variety of taxidermy animals. The blue whale is the most interesting of them.

To enter the museum you have to buy a ticket of the prescribed value. In the same way, by paying a certain amount of money, one can fish in the lake with a fishing rod and ride on the shores of elephants and horses. There is a set schedule for riding elephants and horses. The summer (April-September) schedule is from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm. The winter (October-March) schedule is from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm. The zoo has a specific schedule. The winter (October-March) schedule is from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm and the summer (April-September) schedule is from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm. Everyone has to buy a ticket at a fixed price to enter.

শহর ঢাকায় সম্প্রতি বেশ ক’টি বিনোদন কেন্দ্র গড়ে উঠেছে।

শ্যামলী শিশুমেলা

শ্যামলী থেকে আগারগাঁওগামী সড়কের মোড়ে অবস্থান। যদিও পরিসর ছোট তথাপি রয়েছে চুক্চুক ট্রেন, মেরি-গো-রাউন্ড, ভাইকিং বোট ও ভুতুরে গুহা প্রভৃতি রাইডস। প্রতিদিন বিকেল ৩.০০টা থেকে রাত ৮.০০টা খোলা থাকে। জনপ্রতি নির্ধারিত আদায়ি পরিশোধ করে প্রবেশ করা যায়। প্রতিটি রাইডের জন্যও আলাদা আলাদা মূল্যমান রয়েছে। 

ওয়ান্ডারল্যান্ড ও ফ্যান্টাসি কিংডম 

সায়দাবাদে ওয়ান্ডারল্যান্ড নামে বড় পরিসরের একটি শিশু বিনোদনমূলক আয়োজন রয়েছে। শান্তিনগরের টুইন টাওয়ারে ‘ফ্যান্টাসি কিংডম’ নামে একই ধরনের আরও একটি আয়োজন আছে। জনপ্রতি নির্ধারিত আদায়ি পরিশোধ করে প্রবেশ করা যায়। ওয়ান্ডারল্যান্ড ও ফ্যান্টাসি কিংডমের অন্যতম আকর্ষণ উড়ন্ত বিমান, ব্যাটারি কার, ভাজফিলিং, রোলার স্কেটিং, রোমাঞ্চ চক্র, বাউলিং ক্যাসেল ডেনসিং, ভয়েজার ডাক, ওয়ান্ডার হুইল, বামপার কার, ছোট চাকার একসট্রিম গো কাট রেসিং কার, জরাসিক পার্ক, গেমস পয়েন্ট, অ্যাকুরিয়াম, নেভিফাইটার, প্যারাট্রফার, জেট কোস্টার, ওয়েস্টার্ন রেলকার, গো-গো রেলকার, ম্যারি ক্যারোসিল ও সুপার চেয়ার। প্রতিদিন সকাল ১১.০০ টা থেকে রাত ৯.০০ টা পর্যন্ত খোলা থাকে। তবে শুক্রবারসহ অন্যান্য ছুটির দিনে সময়সূচি আরম্ভ হয় সকাল ১০.০০ টা থেকে।

বঙ্গবন্ধু নভোথিয়েটার 

সংসদ ভবনের উত্তরপুব কোণ থেকে পুরনো বিমান বন্দরগামী সড়ক> ‘বিজয় সরণি’র দক্ষিণে অবস্থান। এটি একটি প্লানেটরিয়াম। ভেতরে বিশেষ ধরনের আলোআঁধারি ও নেপথ্য শব্দতরঙ্গ সৃষ্টিসহ ১৫০টি প্রকল্পের মাধ্যমে একটি ‘স্পেস সো’ উপস্থাপিত হয়। ফলে দর্শকরা তাদের চারপাশে একটি কৃত্রিম সৌরজগৎ দেখতে পায়। এতে থাকে নভোমণ্ডল, গ্রহ, উপগ্রহ, উল্কাপিণ্ড, ধূমকেতু, চন্দ্রগ্রহণ, সূর্যগ্রহণ প্রভৃতি। আরও উপস্থাপিত হয় গ্রহের উৎপত্তিসহ রাশিচক্রের নামের ইতিহাস। এ ‘স্পেস সো’ উপভোগের জন্য প্রত্যেককে নির্ধারিত হারে আদায়ি পরিশোধ করতে হয়। সরকার ঘোষিত ছুটির দিনগুলোসহ প্রতি বুধবার বন্ধ থাকে। শুক্রবার সকাল ১০.০০টা, বিকেল ৩.০০টা, সন্ধ্যে ৫.০০টা ও রাত ৭.০০টায় মোট চারটি সো আয়োজিত হয়। সপ্তাহের অন্যান্য দিনগুলোতে তিনটি করে সো আয়োজিত হয় যথাক্রমে সকাল ১১.০০টা, দুপুর ১.০০টা এবং বিকেল ৩.০০টায়। নির্ধারিত মূল্যের টিকিট ক্রয় করে প্রবেশ করা যায়। অনুরূপ আদায়ি পরিশোধ করতে হয় যানবাহন পার্কিং’র জন্যও। 

চিড়িয়াখানা

বোটানিক্যাল গার্ডেনের পাশেই চিড়িয়াখানা। বি¯তৃতি ৯৩ হেক্টর। ঢুকতেই ভেতরে কাঁঠাল, শিরিশ ও কৃষ্ণচূড়া গাছের ফাঁকে ফাঁকে পশুদের খাঁচা। সবগুলোর পাশেই রয়েছে হাঁটাপথ। প্রদর্শিত রয়েছে দেশি-বিদেশি নির্বিশেষে ১৯১ প্রজাতির ২,২৫১টি প্রাণী। সেগুলোর মধ্যে ৫৫১টি স্তন্যপায়ী, ৩০৯টি তৃণভোজী, ৬৯টি মাংসাশী, ৩৩টি নিশাচর, ৭৩টি সরীসৃপ, ৫৩৩টি বিরল প্রাণী, ১৫৪৩টি পাখি এবং ২৩টি মাছ। সেগুলোর মধ্যে সিংহ, কেশোয়ারি, চিতা, ম্যানড্রিল, ঘড়িয়াল, জলহস্তি, জিরাফ, জেব্রা, ভোঁদর, রোমান বানর, কালো ওয়াইল্ডবিস্ট, হায়েনা, উটপাখি, পেলিকান, লক্ষèীপেঁচা, শঙ্খচিল, ভুবনচিল, রাজধানেশ এবং লেডি অ্যামহার্সট ফিজেন্টের প্রতি দর্শকদের ঔৎসুক্য সবচে বেশি। বাড়তি পাওনা হিসেবে রয়েছে প্রাণী জাদুঘর, ফিস এ্যকুরিয়াম, চওড়া খাল (মাঝে কৃত্রিম চড়া), ছায়া ঢাকা সরুপথ, শিশুকর্নার ও পরিবেশ বৈচিত্র্য। শিশুকর্নারটিতে রয়েছে দোলনা, স্লিপার প্রভৃতি। খালটিতে শীতকালে হাজার হাজার অতিথি পাখি ভিড় জমায়। প্রাণী জাদুঘরের অন্যতম আকর্ষণ টেক্সিডার্মি করা বিভিন্ন প্রাণীসহ রাসায়নিকভাবে সংরক্ষিত মড়া ও কঙ্কাল। সেগুলোর মধ্যে নীলতিমি সবচে আকর্ষণীয়। 

জাদুঘরে প্রবেশের জন্য নির্ধারিত মূল্যমানের টিকিট ক্রয় করতে হয়। একইভাবে নির্দিষ্ট অঙ্কের টাকা পরিশোধ করে বড়শি দিয়ে লেকে মাছ ধরা এবং ডাঙায় হাতি ও ঘোড়ার পিঠে চড়া যায়। হাতি ও ঘোড়ার পিঠে চড়ার নির্দিষ্ট সময়সূচি রয়েছে। গ্রীষ্মকালীন (এপ্রিল-সেপ্টেম্বব) সময়সূচি হলো সকাল ১১.০০ টা থেকে দুপুর ১.০০টা এবং বিকাল ৩.০০ থেকে বিকেল ৫.০০টা। শীতকালীন (অক্টোবর-মার্চ) সময়সূচি হলো সকাল ১০.০০টা থেকে দুপুর ১২.০০টা এবং বিকেল ৩.০০ টা থেকে সন্ধ্যে ৫.০০টা। চিড়িয়াখানার নির্দিষ্ট সময়সূচি রয়েছে। শীতকালীন (অক্টোবর-মার্চ) সময়সূচি সকাল ৭.০০টা থেকে বিকেল ৫.০০টা এবং গ্রীষ্মকালীন (এপ্রিল-সেপ্টেম্বর) সময়সূচি সকাল ৭.০০টা থেকে সন্ধ্যে ৬.০০টা। ভেতরে প্রবেশের জন্য প্রত্যেককে নির্ধারিত মূল্যের টিকিট ক্রয় করতে হয়।
