Dhanmondi Eidgah

Dhanmondi is no old 13. He is no14. Its location is in the middle of the west end of the two roads. Measurements 74.7 m. 41.75 m. All four arms have high walls. In each corner there is a narrow turret> ‘Thesburuj’ and the walls have arched doors lined up at certain distances. But instead of the west wall a row of concave mihrabs can be seen. The middle mihrab is larger in size and has more ornaments. Above all, there is a row of lotus petals on the wall. According to an inscription placed on the middle mihrab it dates back to AD. It was built in 1840 by Dewan Abul Kashem.

ধানমণ্ডি ঈদগা

ধানমন্ডি পুরনো ১৩ নং. ও ১৪ নং. সড়ক দুটির পশ্চিম প্রান্তের মাঝামাঝি স্থানে এর অবস্থান। পরিমাপ ৭৪.৬৭ মি. দ্ধ ৪১.৭৫ মি.। চার বাহুতেই রয়েছে উঁচু পাঁচিল। প্রত্যেক কোণে একটি করে সরু turret> ‘ঠেসবুরুজ’ এবং পাঁচিলগুলোতে নির্দিষ্ট দূরত্ব পর পর সারিবদ্ধ খিলান-দরজা আছে। কিন্তু পশ্চিম দেয়ালে এর পরিবর্তে এক সারি অবতল মিহরাব দেখা যায়। মাঝের মিহরাবটি আকারে বড় এবং এর অলঙ্করণও বেশি। সর্বোপরি পাঁচিলের উপরে রয়েছে এক সারি পদ্ম-পাপড়ি। মাঝের মিহরাবটির উপর বসান একটি শিলালিপির বিবরণ অনুযায়ী এটি খ্রি. ১৬৪০ সালে দেওয়ান আবুল কাশেম নির্মাণ করেছিলেন।
